They have started piling for the front residential sections of the WF project. I'll have to take a look at the posterior sections since they will be going up in a similar time frame.

I am assuming that they needed to cover the vent portions with something other than the zinc panels used. If you check it out in person you can see that it is a completely different texture from the surrounding panels. Hopefully when the zinc weathers/lightens it would match those portions.

I happened to drive by the Central Station in Dt St.Paul, they had put up construction fences around the area where the elevator/sky way connection is to be built, so construction should start soon I guess. It was definitely worth the wait (9- 11:30pm). When the lrt finally emerged from under the bridge, it was almost magical but I was a little disappointed not to see the new s70 lrt being used.
