Re: Beltline Station Area – St. Louis Park
The fence has already gone up around the building as of 12/09. They're moving quickly on this one.

Re: MSP Airport
I noticed a 747 with Arab text on the fuselage and a Qatar flag on the tail. Doesn't appear to be Qatar Air based on photos I'm seeing online. Curious if some sort of dignitary is at Mayo Clinic or something. Anyone know? Funny, I took my lunch break in the MOA parking ramp and watched planes take ...

I found a couple of interesting projects on the City of SLP website. 2 apartment projects that I had heard about but hadn't seen, for the SWLRT stations at Wooddale and Beltline. Also found this proposal near Hwy 7 and Texas. https://www.stlouispark.org/government/departments-divisions/community-dev...

I saw over the weekend that the freight line between Wooddale and Louisiana finally shifted to its new position.

Re: RBC Gateway (Four Seasons) - 37 stories - 519'
Getting it back on topic here is a shot from this past weekend of the progress. As for how to improve this area moving forward I really we need to push for the parking ramp next to the churchill to be taken down as well. Its a block away from the river. I don't see how you get The Churchill to give...

I have to remember not to read the comments section after articles like this. smh It actually sounds like a pretty decent project but you would think by some of the comments that they're putting in a new city dump.

Re: St. Louis Park - General Topics
I wonder if Papa Murphy's could move to the empty Smashburger space a block over at Knollwood Mall? I have a hard time believing that they couldn't make it work somewhere nearby. The place is always busy. I think the liquor store might have a tougher time finding a place to maintain the same amount ...

I guess I don't understand push back on this. Is this replacing the old white office building across from the dealership? I don't see how this would adversely affect the neighborhood.

According to a post on Nextdoor, the Galaxy Drive-in will be open for business this summer after being closed for way too long. It was hard to tell if Schussler has sold it or if he just has a different hospitality team running it.

Re: Wooddale Station Area / PLACE Proposal - St. Louis Park
There's a lot going on here now. It looks like construction on Place is in full swing. Across Wooddale they've started digging the trench for the bike path tunnel. There are signs up for lane closures starting next week as they proceed to cross Wooddale.

Re: Wooddale Station Area / PLACE Proposal - St. Louis Park
I've been trying to figure out why there has been a crane sitting in the fenced area at Wooddale for the past week or two. This morning I saw that there's a train parked to the west full of more track. I'm guessing it will be offloaded soon.

The planning commission is holding a public meeting concerning the amendments to this project tonight at 6:00. On Oct. 7, 2019, PLACE submitted an application for a major amendment to their planned unit development to reconfigure the design of the south site (Via Luna). The request includes: •Reloca...

The Block restaurant is having its grand opening today. 7007 Walker St (the old Park Vacuum building). They've been sharing pics of the menu on Instagram over the past couple of weeks. I think there's probably something for everyone, and it all looks good. Dog friendly, in fact, I believe there's a ...

Can Can Wonderland is doing a 3 day pop up in the old Love Culture space this weekend. It's Jurassic Park themed and they will be showing the original movie on Friday and Saturday on the plaza. Might need some extra blankets for that with the weather we're expected to get.

I noticed on my drive home yesterday that the big hole where the remediation was taking place on the Via (PLACE) site has been filled in. I hope this means that they are finally moving forward with construction. I believe this is the area for the e-generation and vertical greenhouse.

Re: West End / Central Park West Development - St. Louis Park
I heard about Lucky Cricket closing on the 4th for remodeling. Anyone else find it strange to close for remodeling 8 months after opening? The Facebook page says it will only be closed for a couple of weeks, but it's following a post the same day that said it would be open 8am on the 5th. Doesn't so...
