Re: TCF Bank Building Redevelopment
It appears they are having a hard time getting anyone in this building. All I have heard of is IT firm Field Nation, I forget how much space they are taking up though. Awhile ago they put covers on the windows trying to sell on the "Creative Dynamic Space" idea. While Naf Naf Grill opened,...

Re: Nicollet Mall
I think my issues with Nicollet Mall right now is less that the concrete is grey, and more that EVERYTHING is grey. The benches, the trashcans, the sculptures/artwork, the bus shelters, the rocks at the base of the trees. They decorated a monotone room with monotone accessories (except for a few co...

Re: Opus North Loop Apartments on W river parkway
What kind of tunnel could this be? From the Star Tribune to Itasca Building? A tunnel left over from a former rail roundhouse that was in that area?It also traverses through a privately owned tunnel and most people don't know that it exists.

The mirror/lights setup is just strange.
Also, is it just me or are the letters not set right?

Re: TCF Bank Building Redevelopment
Little late posting this, but awhile ago I noticed theres a graffiti wall now.
Even better, the projector now shows shaky go pro video of the wall being painted.
I honestly feel that they are trolling now...?

Re: TCF Bank Building Redevelopment
Part of me wants to think this is a temporary thing as they show perspective tenants? Maybe made for presentation? Allowing any perspective tenants to build it out the way they want?
I just can't believe this could possibly be a finished project.

They took the plastic off the other day and I really don't understand what's going on here. First off, what's with the white paint? Then they have this video playing thats not even centered on anything and just looks like complete garbage. Didn't appear to be any event or anything as it looks the sa...

Re: Wooddale Station Area / PLACE Proposal - St. Louis Park
St Louis Park was awarded a $895,000 grant by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development earlier this month. Still no sign of work being done on the site, unless it’s started in the last couple days.

Re: TCF Bank Building Redevelopment
My company recently looked at this building as a potential new location. From what I gathered from those on the tour and the decision makers it was quickly decided "No".
Here is a photos of the windows, which I agree with the previous post. Does look goofy.

Re: 700 Central Avenue Northeast Apartments
I toured this property again last month and as of then they are almost completely filled. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the work that was done here. I think they did a real good job of preserving aspects of the old building and incorporating it into the new. From speaking with the dev...

Re: 700 Central Avenue Northeast Apartments
I took a tour of this property a couple weeks ago and can say at this time the building in the back where the parking is is currently part of "phase II" as they refer to it as. Not sure of a timeline here, but as of right now it is not actively being built but is still planned. Overall, it...

The skyway through TCF Tower and the TCF Building has been renovated. New carpet now with much more padding, new wall paint with some raised artsy design stuff.

Also, it will be the U.S. Bank Stadium that brings in large national and nationally televised audiences that put Minneapolis on the national and international sports and tourism map. Yeah, the Vikings sure have brought a lot of very positive coverage to Minneapolis over the last 50 years. On ...
