Re: Public Transit News / Current Events (MN only)
What are you working from home folks doing with transit passes? I’m debating finally canceling mine. It is only an option to start or stop about a month in advance. I have until May 10 to cancel for June. But then when I want to restart, I’d have to re-enroll by the 10th the month preceding. Will tr...

Re: Forum Integration Committee
Quinn, I appreciate how the forums are a bit separate from the blog articles. I don't always read every article, but I do appreciate seeing updates on each project or discussion threads. I appreciate how the community of the forums is not heavily moderated. What is the goal of your committee? To me,...

Re: Work from home and road congestion
Like most of you, I enjoy my docking station with dual large screens and in person collaboration. I won’t miss the 40 min bus ride. I start WFH on Monday until TBD. I imagine at first I’ll be more productive.

It’s also spring break season.
I expect to see bus ridership take a big dip this year. Hope it doesn’t hurt any future plans.

Anyone have a link to the routes originally studied? I assume they'd start with those if the route was reassesed.

Re: Roseville / Rosedale - General Topics
I think the biggest challenge Kowalski's will face at this site is accessibility. Back when there was a Rainbow in the current Best Buy space at Crossroads Center, it just didn't seem worth waiting in traffic and battling Best Buy and Kohl's shoppers to get to a grocery store when there were severa...

Is something going into the empty parking lot space on Washington? If that was all patio and green space, it would be a huge improvement.

That rendering looks like they’ve change some of the orientation. I’m not the biggest fan of the donut apartment plans.

That looks like a giant new parking ramp next to the AMC (over the transit station?). Has anyone found the full plans as presented? I’m assuming this is phased.

Re: Highway Transitway Corridor Study
My thoughts: I'm kinda surprised this $300,000 study is being funded entirely by Washington County. I'm not surprised Hennepin isn't involved, but you'd think Ramsey County would be an equal partner with Washington...just look at the map. With this being planned from a suburban mentality, it's kind...

Re: Public Transit News / Current Events (MN only)
Add this to the list of reasons people typically don’t like public transit. I’m on my bus home. The driver just picked up a few people while mid-block in the left lane of Marq2. He then skipped the scheduled stop 50 feet away that had multiple people waving their arms at him. I feel terrible for tho...

Re: Public Transit News / Current Events (MN only)
I hope we see a big increase in aBRT and high frequency routes this next decade. If we can have a great network of connected routes, I believe we’ll see higher ridership. People love transit that is easy. My friends don’t hesitate to use NYC Subway or Chicago L trains. Here, they only use the light ...

The 801 Chophouse has a sign saying Now Open. I’m really disappointed that they have the windows completely covered with what looks like interior wood shutters or sliding panels.
