Re: U.S. Bank Stadium
Besides all the talk about the large roof logo, I do think the small white logo on the east side of the stadium could look really slick at night. Maybe even during the day too.

Or a consortium....It's one of the most booming cities in the US. It just needs a developer with some balls to take the plunge.

Re: Minnesota Multi Purpose Stadium
Somehow I don't picture football fans at a game as a major craft beer audience. Any less so than baseball fans? Yes. The fans are quite different. I'm a big fan of the Twins and Vikings, and I would completely agree that the fans are totally different. Despite me being a bigger fan of the Vikings t...

Straight from the Wiki page, the Hubert H. Humphrey Building in DC is an example of brutalism...man that guy got shafted if you consider the buildings he was named after! (HHH Metrodome included)

Re: Southside - General Topics
Hmmm sad news but maybe some good will come out of it eventually. This corner certainly has a lot of potential...it would be great if something could be put in to live up to that potential. I live just a few blocks down the road so some more common shops would be nice, rather than specialized places...

Demolishion of the habitat building looks like it just started yesterday or today...not sure I that means anything will be built soon though, I have no idea. "Demolishion".... wow nice spelling  Also here's an update on the project from last fall.... 65-unit affordable housing projec...

Re: WaHu Student Housing - 1000 Washington Avenue SE
This has been topped out for a few weeks, I really like how they broke it up into several different buildings on top of the podium...gives a very nice canyon effect down Huron that looks more impressive because it's not just one long building.

Re: Farmers Market Soccer Stadium
Just trying to understand some logistics...so I want to see soccer played outdoors as much as everyone else (believe me I'm pulling for McGuire over Zygi), but what happens when there's too much snow to play in some future March (obviously not this year!)? Would they be able to play a game or two at...

Re: Opus Ritz Block Development
Smirking at how that rendering includes the stadium in the far distant but not 4Marq across the street. I noticed the same thing......even the spreadsheet building is in there!!! Hysterical! So did they purposely choose the right angle where it totally blocks 4Marq or did they just purposely leave ...

Re: Opus Ritz Block Development
As much as that proposal is mediocre, how many combined units (hotel and apartment) are going in right here counting the Nic, 4Marq, the Ritz block, and The Gateway? I mean we're talking like a couple thousand more people living/staying in these three adjacent blocks that were/are just parking lots,...
