I noticed yesterday that there are now concrete barriers surrounding the 1/2 of the parking lot where this building is going up.

Anyone know when this is expected to break ground?

Shortly after the concrete barriers around the 1/2 parking lot where this building is going up are installed?

Oldish news... heard on the radio that Louis CK did a small show at ACME, donating all proceeds to "fight for their cause". Of course the DJs said if this project goes through ACME will have to move or close.

Fencing is up, trailer is on site, and it looks like preliminary site work has begun.

Wow, this one went up without any commentary. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I like the high percentage brick facade on all but the southeastern side and the consistent, simple color palate all the way up. It really seems to do a nice job complimenting the existing brick warehouses in the best way a 5 over 1 modern multifamily building could. There are also about eight walkup units on the N 8th Ave side which is good to see. Not a huge fan of the massive garage entrance and the new parking lot on the corner of 2nd St and 8th Ave.

(A) New housing.
(B) The design is contextual and attractive.
(C) ACME is still alive, lol.

This really turned out nicer than I expected. Not flashy, but a nice, contextual aesthetic. More please!
