I lead a privately-held investment group that has a 15-year comprehensive plan to vastly expand the office, retail, hospitality and entertainment opportunities in downtown Minneapolis. This retail renaissance of downtown Minneapolis will be the largest transformation of any city in USA history. We've contacted and continue to contact the finest array of up-n-coming fashion boutiques from around the globe to expand their opportunities in the USA. Hundreds are very interested in our comprehensive plan that will create critical mass that will increase exposure and revenue at all the retailers. Several fashion and design schools from around the globe will locate in downtown Minneapolis as the international retail expands. More than a dozen international hospitality businesses are interested in locating in downtown Minneapolis. Numerous international entertainment venues are interested in locating downtown. Many international corporations are very interested in locating their US and/or their North American corporate office in downtown Minneapolis, it makes good business sense to do so because of logistics and economically efficient. By 2027, Minneapolis will have World Class City status and a shopping experience that only NYC, Chicago and San Francisco has in the USA. We're attempting to attract more foreign airlines to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to necessary destinations abroad. Presently, MSP has non-stop flights to 140 domestic cities and 40+ international cities (year-round and seasonal service).

He also added many more projects!!!!!!

So, do we think this new profile is still actually Rick, or is it somebody spoofing him?

Based on the headline, I can only assume that this article belongs in this thread.

Sort of related, can we rename/retire this thread to reference the Consortium, and split off a new thread for new rumors?

Remember when this used to be a place where people talked about rumors of potential development sites and people used to bitch and moan trying to get others to confirm or deny such rumors righter after they mock any poster who dared to post such rumor? ...oh the good old days!

70 stories? That'll sure show those bumpkins in Chicago!

As soon as we build it and then sneak in and burn down Willis Tower, the John Hancock Center, Trump International, Aon Center, Aqua, Water Tower Place, and The Legacy at Millenium Park...

Alex Duval went from designing 80 story dream towers to...

That's extra funny because he had proposed locating a studio for KARE in the tower. This revelation perhaps strengthens my theory that the "80 story dream tower" was actually just a really expensive calling card for his newly-started development firm, and not a real thing that ever had a chance of getting built. I suppose only time will tell, as we can only wait and see if Duval ever surfaces as a major developer. Or I suppose anyone who works for CPED could ask his wife what the heck this was all about...
