Eric Best did a story about the plans to renovate the Gardner Hardware building.
Rogers expects their purchase agreement to go through in January. Saturday has already submitted plans to the Heritage Preservation Commission and hopes to be on its agenda in February.

AWH Architects is handling the project’s design.

Rogers hopes to begin a six-month construction April 1.

They plan to close on the purchase of the land by the end of the year, with a construction start date in January 2016.
Regarding 314 N 6th Ave - I'm guessing they're still on schedule. The 6th Ave garage doors of the existing warehouse are open nearly every morning - a week ago it was full of stuff, but it's almost empty now.

Tweet says that Opus paid $3.1 million cash for the site.

I got a quick tour of the Modist Brewing renovation. It's looking pretty nice, and they're hoping for a late February opening (but he said it might push into early March).

Ugh. Sabri family wants to build condos in the North Loop at 816 Fifth St. N. I guess I shouldn't judge before seeing any renderings, but still, it's the Sabri's.

Well, the bright side is this is a parcel tucked up against a freeway viaduct, so if it's ugly nobody has to see it.

I wonder how strict the cities codes would be with all of that. Now that Minneapolis has all these new ordinances. As long we kept the height at its original shell and didn't expand upward (With Minneapolis's new height restrictions now at 400 feet max) and didn't use Tyvek around the new windows, or put a neon sign to advertise I think we'd be OK

I'm curious about how the new 400ft height restriction interacts with the 467ft proposal for 200 Central.

He or she maybe talking about the old Sinner's store front to the east. I think the SexWorld corner will be restaurant/bar in the end. IMO
