Impression? I had friends who went on Friday - I heard nothing but praise. My suspicion is that Roy Wilkins is no longer a viable option for concerts.Yep, Phantogram on Sunday!Anyone going tonight (or in the near future)?
Re: St. Paul Palace Theater renovation
It never was, but that didn't stop people from booking shows there. Still, Roy Wilkins has a capacity of 5,000 which is pretty unique in the market.
My take-away was that it's a shame that Minneapolis didn't scrape the seats off of the floor of one of their old theaters.

Because I'm petty and jealous, and don't like going all of the way to St. Paul for shows.

Knitting Factory just took over the Myth though, so they'll be able to book some names I would imagine.

Plus, Myth is somewhat larger.
