Re: City Center
Oh wow, yeah exactly what I was thinking. What an improvement. Seems like it would be cost-effective as well.

Re: 4Marq - (313' - 30 Stories)
The tower could use some depth. Maybe just a subtle stain or even paint? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v731/FACEMOBB/CC1_zps76yjvsyu.jpg Lotta blue in that skyline. Maybe fake some of those reflective properties... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v731/FACEMOBB/CC2_zpsxpm8b8ec.jpg Or how about ...

Re: 4Marq - (313' - 30 Stories)
yeah my point was more that instead of that beige lego block, it would be nice to have WF as the centerpiece of the Target Field view, but i digress.

Re: Bottineau LRT (Blue Line Extension)
So this thing's gonna skip the densest part of the most economically challenged part of the city and cruise through a 126 yr old park? Well done.

Have we seen/shared this map yet: http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/315/5/9/minneapolis_skyway_nov11_by_mike77777-d6ty4xs.png How accurate/useful is it? What would you change to make it more accurate and/or usable? Found this version done by Carticulate while browsing the new Walker MN site......

That's a bummer but not surprising. Hands down my favorite pad thai, but I've never experienced such consistently poor service.Minneapolis' Taste of Thailand calls it quits after eight years

Re: Nicollet Hotel Block
It feels tacky to me. I preferred the Mortenson design, but what do you do.
I know that design is subjective, but I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. It looks like poorly stacked blocks. Now with gimmicky LED lights. Am I the only person with serious reservations about this design?

Re: Minneapolis Skyway System
The skyways are also a fantastic recruiting tool when attracting out of state talent.

Re: Nicollet Hotel Block
Not only does it still get brutally cold, the buildings create a piercing wind tunnel effect.

This thing looks like a flat rendering but in real life. It's odd.

Re: Nicollet Hotel Block
For those of you calling for something more iconic, are there any relatively recent examples you can point to as high water marks? I'm fairly new to this world and would love to know what we're shooting for here.

Not to be overly negative, but this scenario seems so unlikely I chuckled.

Re: Southwest Corridor (Green Line Extension)
Excuse my ignorance on the topic, but it seems odd this thing doesn't run down Hennepin, then Lake St / Excelsior.
