Re: Underpass Park in Toronto: why not Mpls?

I think some of you are confused as to where I envision this park - I put the grid above - just Google or Map Quest. I'll find a map application that allows me to mark it for you. I'm not talking about the underpass over by the Basilica and Farmer's Market - I'm talking about the one that runs paral...

Re: Underpass Park in Toronto: why not Mpls?

that's an awful place to go to play chess! Just the thought of sitting on a bench under a freeway bridge enjoying a book just makes me laugh I don't think that project would be very successful in drawing people under the freeway bridges! Dunwoody BLVD is next to a wonderful park and a sculptu...

Underpass Park in Toronto: why not Mpls?

I was just admiring this Underpass Park design in Toronto and thought something similar could happen in North Loop. The grid parameters I'm thinking of would be 10th Avenue North to at least 6th Avenue North & N 4th Street & N 5th St. The underpass would of course be the 94 North link that c...

Is this a thing people have brought up before? Wouldn't be an issue at night but...

Re: Block E

I remember meeting Mayor Belton at the Humphrey Institute, just after she left office. I applauded her service then told her Block E will ultimately fail due to what I believe the most important question any designer should always answer with such a project: Does the space make you happy & promo...

Re: Convention Center Hotel - (330 South 12th Street)

he's right it's a waste and unncesseary. if it's such a great idea a private developer would build a hotel. But a private developer would be building a hotel on this site! This would not be owned by the county or the city...lol. Look, the main reason this site has potential is due its proximity to ...

Re: Vikings Stadium

I usually don't post on here, but believe me I read much, not all, of what's on here so please forgive me if this one has been uploaded before. I like this concept and truly hope the new Vikings Stadium is along these lines.
