I'm sure that's just distortion due to the lens being pointed upward. It will skew the lines depending on how much you tilt the camera upward. None of these buildings are leaning. Also, it looks unsteady, thoughts on that?

Re: District 600 - (600 Fifth Street North)
I walked by yesterday afternoon and they have just finished laying the pre-fab concrete slabs for the two underground levels. It looks like they are ready to work on the first above ground level and I'd image the additional levels of wood construction will go up quickly. It is about time. This has been painful to watch.

Re: District 600 - (600 Fifth Street North)
Look at the left side of the building at the first two floors. The wood beams are fairly noticeably juxtapositioned where the two floors meet at the top of fl 1. I don't know if that's from any camera distortion.I'm sure that's just distortion due to the lens being pointed upward. It will skew the lines depending on how much you tilt the camera upward. None of these buildings are leaning. Also, it looks unsteady, thoughts on that?

Now that I look at it again that one section on the left does look cockeyed. Thanks.

Maybe that's why this project is (clearly) stalled? That would explain a lot -- a sinking foundation.

It's not clearly stalled.

Please give more than this as a response. To many, this project may certainly look stalled. If you don't believe it is, please share your reasoning. It's not clearly stalled.

Re: District 600 - (600 Fifth Street North)
I have noted in a few posts above the clear progress that has been made over the last few months. It is certainly slow, but not stalled. To summarize for those who don't read previous posts, they have just completed the underground portion and should be ready to start building above ground again very soon.

So then is it safe to assume that there aren't any foundation issues and what we think we're seeing isn't really a leaning building? I'm sincerely asking, not being "snarky".

I've walked by the building several times and never has it appeared to be leaning as the lens distortion shows. So then is it safe to assume that there aren't any foundation issues and what we think we're seeing isn't really a leaning building? I'm sincerely asking, not being "snarky".

"Phase 2" lol is above ground.
Re: District 600 - (600 Fifth Street North)
It's a bummer that this project has struggled, because I think it represents exactly the kind of thing we should be looking for more of: non-subsidized, affordable, small apartment, low-amenity, non-luxury living close to downtown and transit.

No idea how to directly put this in the comment, but the building is in fact moving again. First time poster, long time creeper. Maybe someone can direct message me about inserting photos.

4 stories?
It's kind of crazy to see it finally happening. Lol.

That project has been like the old Reserve on 4th and 5th. This project has been a long time coming. Glad they will soon be topped off and they get siding on it and people to live in it. I'll have to see how badly it blocks the Fulton Brewery's Patio view of the Twins stadium. But I guess the same can be said about the Be the Match which was not being build the last time I was to Fulton and a game.
Just glad we are at a point where we can always see progress now.

Re: District 600 - (600 Fifth Street North)
Looks like the website now reads June 2015, which can't be right either. They still have two stories of stick to build plus all the interior work. I'd guess the opening will be closer to August or September, putting them a full year behind schedule.http://district600.com/
"Opening March 2015" (but likely not...the website hasn't been updated in a while)
The original target was September, so they're 6 months behind at a minimum.
